Gateshead’s multi-story car park, designed by Rodney Gordon for the Owen Luder Partnership, was a notable example of Brutalist architecture. Famously featured in the 1971 film Get Carter, it became widely known as the “Get Carter car park.” Demolition of the structure began on July 26, 2010, and was completed by early October that year. This print showcases a worn, colorful circular illustration of the iconic car park, set against a beach-style sky with birds.
